4 movies + Saturday = A review

A well spent weekend becoming more of a rarity, this one was surely good, (amidst the househunt running in the background)

I stayed glued to the Idiot Box watching, Waqt, Karam,Bunty Aur Bubbly & Naina .

Bunty Aur Bubbly (not exactly a review) :

I thought I'd grown out of the days we used to go, " How cute shah rukh is, oh my god is he handsome or what?" Well, yea true but who said we can't drool over Abhishek...I took an immediate liking towards the Young B ever since his appearance @ koffee with karan and he has been nothing but his own self, with naughty eyes, devastating smiles and easy-go-lucky ways in the boy-next-door looks.
Rani still hasn't gotten over her Black looks but they definitely have an awesome chemistry onscreen( offscreen as well i suppose... hey abhi n rani don't sue me....this is not a tabloid ).

Though, the pic didnt quite turn out to be worth all the hype , its a colorful entertainer , the one you can drown your self and enjoy a splash or two in the dramatic adventures.

Karam:

I hadnt managed to see this one at one stretch despite the fact that it was telecast umpteen number of times thanx to my cable guy( not even remotely close to Carrey!!!) .Anyways, if it was Bacchan I was droolin @ in BAB, it was Ms. Chopra in Karam. That lady has got the most enticing smiles . And she is pretty.As always it remains an incomplete one, cos i still didnt watch it till the end.

Naina:

Amidst all the controversies about concept-lifting et al, the movie stands out in terms of "RamGopalVarma" effects. The movie deserves due credit anyone ignorant of the existence of an English movie would give. This one was scores better than Vaastushastra.Ms.Matondkar needs a facelift.Her boyfriend/shrink is kinda cute. Since I saw it on CD, i was spared the haunted nights that usually follow a horror, thriller.

Waqt:

A Strong Dont watch number!!!Except for the colourful sets , comedy track and the beautiful priyanka chopra there's nothing much to expect from the movie. In one of the scenes Akshay gets an LIC policy for his wife n son-to-be-born and says " ab hamare bacha surakshit hain"
What the hell man......!!!!!What kinda evil spell has befallen the Indian audience. A very predictable typical indian movie. The music is good and my fav no being miraksam . But watching the entire movie was an experience of a kind. Glad I saved a 100 bucks by watching it at home.
